DenVenue is run by Den Entertainment Inc. ("DenVenue", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use denvenue.com and the DenVenue apps, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. The short version: we use your information to run DenVenue, we don't sell it, and you can download or delete it at any time.

What we collect

Information you give us

  • Account details: your name, email address and password (or your Google/Apple sign-in), and profile details you add such as a photo, username, bio and city.
  • Purchases: tickets, merch, subscriptions and the shipping address for merch orders. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Things you post: Scene posts, comments, live chat messages, setlist votes and direct messages. Direct messages are encrypted when stored.
  • Messages you send us, signup forms, and requests such as data deletion.
  • For artists and crew: band details, payout details, contracts and event assignments.

Information created as you use DenVenue

  • Activity: shows and videos you watch, likes, follows, shares, event check-ins and ticket scans.
  • Den Dollars: your balance, how you earned or spent them, and your status tier.
  • Device and usage information such as browser type, app version, pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, used to keep the service working and secure.

How we use it

  • To run DenVenue: your account, tickets and check-in, streaming and on-demand video, merch orders, subscriptions and Den Dollars.
  • To show you relevant shows, artists and content, and to send notifications you can control in Notification Settings.
  • To support artists, for example crediting the artist you support with part of your subscription, and paying artists for merch sales.
  • To keep DenVenue safe: preventing fraud and abuse, moderating content, and enforcing our Terms.
  • To understand and improve DenVenue using aggregated, de-identified statistics.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run DenVenue:

  • Service providers who process data for us: Base44 (app hosting and database), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (video streaming and images), Printful (printing and shipping merch), Zoho Sign (artist agreements), and our email providers.
  • Other members, only what you choose to make public: your profile, posts, comments and follows. You can make your profile private.
  • Artists: limited information about their own fans, such as the shipping details needed to fulfill merch an artist ships themselves, and aggregated audience statistics.
  • When required by law, to protect people's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business (with notice to you).

Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your settings and keep DenVenue secure. We don't use advertising cookies. You can clear cookies in your browser, though you'll then need to sign in again.

Your choices and rights

  • Download your data any time from Privacy & Security → Download my data.
  • Delete your account from Privacy & Security, or use the data deletion request form if you can't sign in. Your account is deactivated right away and deleted within 30 days, except records we must keep by law, such as transaction records.
  • Make your profile private, remove followers, and block people.
  • Control notifications in Notification Settings and unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email.
  • Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your data. Email info@denvenue.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

How long we keep it

We keep your information while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or de-identify your personal information within 30 days, except where we need to keep it to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent fraud.

Security

We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for direct messages, access controls that limit who can see your data, and signed links for members-only video. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

DenVenue isn't for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has an account, contact us and we'll remove it.

Where your data is processed

DenVenue is based in the United States, and our providers may process data in the US and other countries with safeguards in place.

Changes

If we make significant changes, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app or by email before they take effect.
